A Little Bit About Me
I've always been passionate about understanding people—their emotions, experiences, and how they navigate the world. As far back as I can remember, I've found myself drawn to hearing others' stories, and I've always felt a deep sense of fulfillment in being able to support those around me.
I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology from Rowan University in 2009 and spent the next five years advising students in a master’s program. Helping students achieve their academic and personal goals made me realize my true calling: providing therapy to those seeking to improve their mental health. I pursued that path by earning a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University in 2017.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of offering individual and group counseling to teens, adolescents, and adults facing challenges like depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. The opportunity to connect with people during some of their most vulnerable moments is something I truly value, and it’s an honor to walk alongside my clients on their journey to healing and growth.
After several years of working in larger group practices, I’m incredibly excited to offer a more personalized experience here at Ace Counseling. I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your journey!
My Ideal Client
I work with a diverse range of individuals facing anxiety and depression, whether you're looking for practical strategies to cope with your symptoms or simply seeking a safe space to talk about the life challenges that leave you feeling lost. Additionally, I support clients dealing with ADHD symptoms, which can render even the most straightforward tasks quite difficult.
In recent years, I have concentrated my practice on two distinct groups: young adults encountering "coming of age" challenges, such as navigating college, building relationships, and transitioning to independent living for the first time, as well as mothers and parents who are on their fertility journey, adapting to the demands of parenthood, or processing recent loss. These experiences can be both enlightening and overwhelming, and I am here to assist you through them.
Even if you don’t have a formal diagnosis, if you are facing difficulties that lead you to seek guidance, please know you are not alone—there is a nurturing space for you here. I recognize that each person's path is unique, and I am dedicated to offering customized support that aligns with your specific circumstances.
I am truly excited about partnering with you on your journey of self-discovery and healing. Together, we will delve into your thoughts and feelings in a warm and encouraging environment, empowering you to find the direction that resonates with you. Your experiences matter, and I am eager to be a part of your journey.
